What it means in a teaching context: It means that teaching practice is informed by theories, and teachers need to understand, critique and apply these theories in a classroom practice. It must be a learner centered education classroom, since it is the prevailing approach in Namibia. 1.2 How will you acquire the necessary skills in your selected competence? By willing to engage with others, explore on the light of prevailing theories, applies lessons from reflection and continuously improve practice.
